You are really spoiled for choice when it comes to cheap local food, to get really good local food, you might just have to get out the tourist areas and explore the real Phuket. Some of these popular eateries do not even bother with any interior décor! Most have simple tables and plastic chairs as long as the food is delicious, fresh and clean and at cheap prices, customers will always come.

Phad Thai is well know and a perfect light meal for lunch, another delusions non spicy dish is “khao man gai” (Thai chicken rice); one of Thailand’s most popular fast-food dishes. Khao man gai is rice steamed with garlic, with boiled chicken and chicken stock. It’s eaten with fresh vegetables, chicken soup and a dipping sauce. Prices for both of them starts from about 35 baht, which is unbelievable for such an outstanding dish.

Phuket’s floating seafood restaurants can be found along the east coast. The restaurants keep fish, crabs, prawns and other seafood in floating wood-and-net enclosures

This type of venue is usually run within the same family for generation after generation. Customers are mainly from the same neighborhood and attracted from far by word of mouth.

This splendid little pearl is where you can find the owner of La Moet in the cozy cigar corner. A really familial restaurant with personality feeling to the edge, both the food and the staff is more than excellent! If you meet Fredrik “The Owner”, say hello from us!

This combined restaurant and sports bar makes you feel like you’re in a big city at a very modern, clean and at the same time very cozy place with excellent food. Awesome atmosphere! Their slogan is “Service is not our job, it’s our pleasure” and for sure “Chrille” the Owner make sure its a true statement together with is amazing staff, they all lives up to that!

A perfect place for wine & dine, or to just “hand out”  and meet other travellers from all over the world. If you like sport then this is the palce to be, always something happening on their big screen.  Located in Karon at Patak Road

Sabai Corner
Do you find the sky magical at sunset-time ? you should try it out from here!! –  this is a cozy hidden area in peace and quieatmospheret! Come before sunset for a drink and stay into the dark and we highly recommend you to try their  curry crab or one of their famous owen made pizzas dish, delicious !the best on the island!  They view is fantastic, a place where  you need to be here before the sunset.  Great food, and amazing view with professional staff looking after you !

With their four restaurants all around Phuket they really know how to serve you in an excellent and professional way. Their slogan is “Come for the food and stay for the fun” and we sure do every time we visit them!
