Thailand has a lot to offer holidaymakers and travellers, sun and beach holidays, party islands, city life, iconic temples and nature breaks. It also has 22 marine national parks, Sirinat National Park is the smallest of them and located in Phuket. This is a popular Phuket attraction for walkers and hikers, campers, day-trippers, and bird watchers and the ideal place to get away from it all and find some peace and quiet.
The Phi Phi Islands consist of several small islands, but the largest two, and the most visited, are Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley. Although they are the largest, they are very small in comparison to Phuket, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty there to keep you busy. Of all the islands around Phuket, Phi Phi should be on your list of those to visit.
In our opinion Phang Nga is one of the most beautiful places in Thailand, if you are staying in Phuket then it is very accessible and we highly recommend a visit. With limestone mountains and islands set against a backdrop of mangroves and sparkling emerald waters, you can imagine you are in another world where stress from real life is far, far away.
We all dream of a beach holiday, lazing around all day on the sand, swimming and sunbathing. However, no matter how much we love the beach there are times when something different is in order. Even if it’s just a Phuket shopping trip, a fast ride on a jet-ski, or a trip to Wat Chalong for some spiritual respite.
